Room Tour

So after doing a home-ware haul for the new things I bought for my room, I then wanted to film a Room Tour!

You can watch it here, or just take a look at my pictures below :)

Quick And Easy Brownie In A Mug

So I've been really getting into Youtube lately and have filmed some more videos for my channel. One of them being how to make the super quick and easy, yet super yummy, brownie in a mug.

Ingredients:
6 Tablespoons of hot chocolate powder
4 Tablespoons of all purpose flour
3 Tablespoons of Milk or Water
2 Tablespoons of melted butter

Mix them all together and microwave for 1 minute.

How easy was that?!

Youtube

I've recently arrived home from the most amazing time of my life, travelling some incredibly beautiful countries and I thought it was time to give something new a try.

I have been watching Youtube videos for years now, and always wanted to give them a go myself, so that's what I have done.

My first video is now live, so I'd love it if you'd check it out.

Thankyou!

Tanya Burr Lipglosses

When Tanya announced the release of her lipgloss and nail varnish collection, I knew I would have to get them!
I decided on two of the lipglosses (I'm trying to save money at the moment, otherwise I definitely would have bought them all!) I went for 'Picnic In the Park' and 'Lets Travel The World'.

'Picnic In The Park'
'Lets Travel The World'
I was really impressed to find both lipglosses have amazing colour pay off, whilst still giving a beautiful gloss to the lips, without being at all sticky! They both also smell like strawberries and cream, which is a massiveee bonus, as well as lasting for a really good length of time. If I'm honest, theres not one thing I can fault!

I am definitely going to have to get more of these, as I absolutely love them, and you can't really go wrong at £6.99!

I am also going to do a separate post on what look I would wear with these colours, so stay tuned!

Thank you for reading!

How To- Toning Brassy/Yellow Hair

Hello lovely readers,
At the beginning of last year I decided to take the risk of dying my hair a lighter shade of blonde, using shop bought hair dye. I already knew it was quite likely my hair may go slightly yellow, but since I had blonde hair already, I thought there would be much less risk involved. Obviously I was wrong, that's why I'm here to help anyone else in the same position as I was. (I had VERY yellow hair.)

Firstly, don't panic. Although you may feel like your orange/yellow hair cannot be fixed, it definitely can! and pretty much straight away. When I washed the dye out of my hair, I was almost ready to run to the shop to buy a darker colour, in hope it would cover it up (this would have probably just made my hair a darker shade of orange and damaged it further, so I'm glad I didn't!) Instead, I purchased some toner, in the form of shampoo and conditioner.
Purple cancels out yellow, so I knew I had to look for the darkest purple colour shampoo I could, which was how I found the provoke touch of silver, twice a week brightening shampoo.
(For some reason some cameras don't like picking up purple colours, so this looks fairly blue, but as you can see, it's a pretty dark shade.)

It was super cheap from savers, and it made such a difference to my hair after just one wash, so I would definitely recommend this one! (I would also suggest buying the conditioner for an even bigger difference.) I have used this twice now, and my hair is already so close to being the blonde shade I wanted.
In between using the Provoke shampoo, I have used the John Frieda sheer blonde colour renew shampoo and conditioner. These are a bit lighter than the other shampoo, but have definitely helped make a difference! They also feel less harsh on my hair, and leave it feeling soft, and smelling amazing!

Alongside these, I would definitely recommend using a hair repair mask to help put the moisture back into your hair. I have used the Toni&Guy reconstruction mask, which has made my hair a lot shinier and healthy looking.
Thank-you so much for reading. I hope this has been helpful to some of you!
If you have any hair tips you'd like to share, please let me know!

Where to go next

Today I thought I would write about something slightly different. My last few posts have been beauty related, and although I love talking about different products, I think it is sometimes good to write down your thoughts and feelings, (which I wanted to do) instead of bottling them up, And I also want my blog to be a place where I can write about anything I feel like. I used to write things down on pieces of paper as a young child, and although I wasn't going to let anyone see them, I felt that just by writing them down, a small weight was lifted from my shoulders.

Like a lot of people my age, I have found myself stuck with what to do next. Having just completed my A-Levels I have so many things to decide on. I already knew that i didn't want to venture off to university like a lot of people I know, mainly because I have no idea what I would study. So i'm here trying to figure out my next step, whilst everyone around me seems to already know theirs.
Not so long ago i was so excited to leave college, as everyone says (the world is your oyster), and I was really looking forward to exploring the world, and just living life. However, just recently i have lost all enthusiasm. Getting a job, work experience, or an apprenticeship has proved difficult, and i feel completely lost with where to go next. The reason I wanted to write this post, was not only to try and get rid of some of the stress of working out what to do, but also to try and help some of the few people reading this that might be in the same position as i am. I think one thing that can often make people feel better, is for them to know that they are not the only one in that position, and other people feel the same way.

I have realised that there is so much more to life than finding a job that makes you 'rich'. I know that a lot of people's biggest goals are to become millionaires, but what would be the point in wasting a lot of your life constantly working to earn money that you don't have time to spend. I'm not saying that being 'well off' is a bad thing, but I would much rather spend my time being happy in a low payed job (that is enough to live off), than spending all my time being stressed and angry, with a lot of money. I decided that instead of looking at what jobs are best payed, and trying to go down that route, I would look at things I enjoy and go from there. I also decided to create a list of things I would love to do in my life time, because I don't want to be a person that looks back with regrets and says 'what if'.
I guess what I am trying to say is that life is so much more than big houses and nice cars, so don't worry if like me you're stuck for what to do now, because you'll realise what makes you happy, and that's what you should strive to be. For now though, live in the moment, and be thankful for what you have. Every situation teaches you something, like this one has for me, and I have learnt to focus on doing things I love to make me happy, rather than wasting time working out how to become 'successful'.
Happiness is success.

MUA undressed eyeshadow palette review

If you're looking for a new eyeshadow palette to add to your make-up collection, I would seriously recommend you try out MUA's undressed Palette. As many people may know, this palette is a dupe for Urban Decay's naked palette, and a good one at that.

Not only is it milessss cheaper (MUA's being £4 and Urban decay's being around £36!) the quality is also pretty great! The majority of the colours in this palette are highly pigmented, much like urban decay's, and I also found them to last all day, even without a primer!

I tried out some different looks using this Palette ( I wanted to go for subtle daytime looks, as this is what Iwear most often) and i found the overall quality to be very high.
The only downside of this product is the packaging (It's a bit more boring than Urban decay's) but considering the very low price, you can't really complain!
If like me you were saving up for a new naked palette, or even you're first naked palette, I would definitely consider purchasing this palette instead, and saving the rest of your money for other beauty goodies!
